What does the diet consist of?
Dietary fiber is found in foods of plant origin. They are practically not digested or absorbed. At the same time, the food bolus of plant fibers absorbs water, which makes the stool softer and relieves constipation.
The most dietary fiber is found in bran. Before use, it is recommended to soak the bran in warm water for 1 hour to allow it to swell. It is recommended to eat from 20 g to 60 g of bran per day.
In case of “lazy intestines”, it is necessary to include foods rich in plant fiber in the diet. These include vegetables such as beets, pumpkin, and zucchini. The most recommended fruits are figs, prunes, dried apricots, and dates.
Bread made from wholemeal flour, porridge made from wheat, buckwheat, pearl barley and oatmeal are good for stimulating the motor function of the colon.
The diet includes lactic acid products: fresh kefir, yogurt, acidophilus.
Products that cause increased gas formation are not recommended: legumes, cabbage, apple and grape juices.
Avoid foods rich in essential oils: garlic, turnips, radishes, radishes.
It is necessary to limit the intake of strong tea, black coffee, cocoa, chocolate, white bread, flour dishes and slimy soups.
