An infusion of burdock roots with almond oil, which is called burdock oil, is considered an excellent remedy for strengthening and growing hair. For the same purposes, a decoction of the roots is also used, which should be used to wash the hair and rub it into the hair.
Methods of application
An infusion of burdock root is prepared as follows: pour 15 g of root with two glasses of boiling water and leave for 2 hours. Take half a glass four times a day. The infusion should be warm.
Root powder infusion : Burdock root is dried and ground into powder. 5 grams of powder should be poured into two glasses of boiling water and mixed thoroughly, poured into a thermos and left for 12 hours. Take 100 ml four times a day.
External use of burdock leaves relieves inflammation in arthrosis, mastitis, gout and reduces pain. To do this, tear off a leaf, crush it a little in your hands and tie it to a sore spot, preferably overnight.
Contraindications
This plant has virtually no contraindications. However, it should not be taken orally during pregnancy. When treating with burdock, the dosage should be strictly observed, since large quantities can cause poisoning.
